ILOILO City – A 55-year-old man was shot dead in Barangay Tigbayog, Calinog, Iloilo.
Police said resident Nestor Compliza died on the spot.
The suspect was his cousin Rodel Compliza, 42, of the town’s Barangay Manaripay.
An argument around 8 p.m. on June 29 may have led to the shooting, initial police investigation showed.
The victim reportedly tried to stab the suspect, but the latter was quick to shot him on the chest using a 12-gauge shotgun.
