ILOILO – A man was shot by his neighbor in Barangay Don T. Lutero East, Janiuay town.
Mark Doreza, 29, sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and shoulder. He was taken to the Janiuay District Hospital for treatment.
According to the Janiuay police, an argument ensued between Doreza and suspect Jomarie Alcamphor, 47.
After their argument, Alcamphor went home, took a firearm, and returned to shoot Doreza around 3:40 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, police added.
Police recovered from the crime scene a shell casing believed to be from a .45 pistol.
The suspect fled after the shooting. Officers of the Janiuay police station are pursuing him./PN
