ROXAS City – A man who allegedly shot his younger brother was arrested in a hot pursuit operation in Barangay Tabuc Norte, Panitan, Capiz, a police report showed.
The 56-year-old resident Danilo Casabon, detained at the Panitan municipal police station lockup facility, was facing a frustrated homicide charge.
Casabon’s brother, the 40-year-old Rene, on the other hand, sustained gunshot wounds on the head and left shoulder.
Rene was confined at a hospital for treatment, police said.
Investigation revealed that a heated argument occurred between the brothers after Casabon threw a stone at the homebound Rene on Monday.
The altercation prompted Casabon to draw his gun of unknown caliber and fired at Rene, added the police./PN
