ROXAS City – A man was shot by motorcycle riding-in-tandem gunmen in Barangay Banica.
Nestor de Andres was a resident of Barangay San Jose. He was driving his tricycle when ambushed late afternoon on June 10.
In the tricycle were de Andres’ wife and two children. The family was heading to Barangay Tanque.
De Andres was hit twice on the head.
The two attackers were wearing bonnets. They fled after shooting de Andres.
Roxas City police station’s Police Captain Marvin Balmes said this could be a case of revenge killing.
De Andres, according to Balmes, was a suspect in a stabbing 20 years ago./PN
