ANTIQUE – A 35-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Barangay Badiang, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique.
Jomarie Estrella Guanzon, married and a resident of Barangay San Fernando, San Jose de Buenavista, was found lying on the ground and bathing in his blood.
Guanzon was brought to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.
Initial investigation of the San Jose de Buenavista Municipal Police Station revealed that nearby residents heard three bursts of gunfire past 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13.
The victim had gunshot wounds to his right chest and left eye, police added.
