BACOLOD City – A 27-year-old man was shot dead by an unidentified gunman, 7:45 p.m. on Thursday at Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The victim was identified as Harold Esman, resident.
The suspect is still at large and has yet to be identified, said the San Carlos City Police Station.
The initial investigation reveals that Esman was walking home along a narrow alley in Parola, Barangay 6 when the unidentified suspect shot him twice, sustaining gunshots to his torso.
The victim was rushed to the San Carlos City Hospital but was pronounced “dead on arrival” by the attending physician.
Police recovered from the crime scene two pieces of .45 caliber fired cartridges and a deformed slug of .45 caliber./PN
