ILOILO City â Arjie Alcala, a 31-year-old resident of the island barangay of Bagongon in Concepcion, Iloilo, had been shot.
Alcala was engaged in an argument with neighbor Alex âEmbongâ Toquero when the latter fired at him at around 7 p.m. on Feb. 3, a police report showed.
Barangay Captain Mikael Villarose informed the Concepcion police about the incident at around 8 p.m.
Alcala sustained a gunshot wound on the stomach. He was taken to the Sara District Hospital and later referred to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
They were having a drinking spree when the argument erupted between them, the police report stated.
The kind of firearm Toquero used was undetermined.
The suspect remained at large, too, as of this writing./PN
