BACOLOD City – An alleged drug suspect was killed while his live-in partner was wounded in a shooting incident in Barangay 2.
The 50-year-old Roberto Salvador died of gunshot wounds on the head, a police report showed.
Wounded was 30-year-old Christine Tipon of Barangay 4, the report added.
According to police investigation, Salvador and Tipon were walking when two unidentified suspects peppered them with bullets around 7:10 p.m. on Monday.
Salvador died on the spot, police said.
Tipon sustained gunshot wounds on the body, the police added.
She was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital here for medical treatment.
Officers of Police Station 2 have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
