ILOILO City – A man was shot while pacifying a scuffle between construction workers in a bunkhouse in Barangay Camalig, Jaro district yesterday.
Roque Cesar Montalvo, 42, was rushed to the Metro Iloilo Hospital and Medical Center for a gunshot wound on the face.
Tagged suspect was 45-year-old Ritchie Ramirez.
Police said a certain Baroyroy (Rithchie’s son) had an altercation with another construction worker, Marjun Ponpon, around 12:05 p.m.
The younger Ramirez reportedly went home and informed his father about the altercation.
Another confrontation happened when Ritchie arrived.
Montalvo tried to quell the fight but was shot by the older Ramirez using an unidentified firearm.
The suspect remained at large./PN
