CAPIZ – A man was stabbed to death around 11:25 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, in Barangay Casanayan, Pilar town.
The 37-year-old Reman Zacarias Galosmo, a resident of the town’s Barangay Sta. Fe, succumbed to multiple stab wounds in different parts of his body.
Pilar police said the victim was declared dead on arrival at Bailan District Hospital.
According to Pilar police, the victim and the suspect identified as John Erick Detaro of Sitio Mahidaiton, Barangay Casanayan, had a heated argument in front of a sari-sari store owned by alias Agnes.
The suspect later stabbed the victim multiples times, hitting him on his underarm, left leg and forehead, police added.
Detaro fled after the incident.
Officers of the Pilar Municipal Police Station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect./PN
