BACOLOD City – He died after a drunken man stabbed him on the back in Purok Caimito, Barangay Bunga, Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.
Dr. Romen Agraviador pronounced the 56-year-old Rogelio Echevaria “dead on arrival” at the San Carlos City Hospital.
Echevaria – a resident of Barangay Palampas, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental – was stabbed around 7 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
The suspect who evaded arrest was still unidentified. Police were hunting him as of this writing.
