BACOLOD City – He was stabbed to death while sitting outside a store with his younger brother in Barangay Carabalan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 28-year-old resident Jovy Tanilon was declared “dead on arrival” at the Himamaylan City District Hospital, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as Reny Boy Montez, also a resident of Carabalan.
Officers from the Himamaylan City police station were still hunting Montez as of this writing. The suspect fled after the incident.
