ANTIQUE – A man was declared “dead-on-arrival” at the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in San Jose de Buenavista town due to multiple stab injuries.

Jessie Enario, 46, was a resident of Barangay Mapatag, Hamtic.

The Hamtic Municipal Police Station (MPS) responded to a call on Friday, March 24, and found Enario lying with cuts on the neck and the knife allegedly used still stuck on the victim’s chest.

Enario and suspect Joseph Calubiran, 49, had a drinking binge the night before, where the victim allegedly chastised the latter, said Police Master Sergeant Oliver Villanueva.

Calubiran, enraged, returned the next morning and allegedly stabbed Enario who was st0ill sleeping.

Villanueva said both served jail time for different charges where they got acquainted.
