ANTIQUE – A man was stabbed dead around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, in Barangay Bongbongan 1, Sibalom town.
Larry Alagos, a resident of the aforementioned barangay, succumbed to a stab wound on the lower part of his neck. He was declared dead on arrival at Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in San Jose de Buenavista town.
Sibalom police said the suspect identified as Ronnie Cahilig, a resident of Sibalom’s Barangay Igdagmay, remained at large as of this writing.
Investigation revealed that the victim and suspect were having a drinking binge at the hut owned by alias “Leovi” when a misunderstanding ensued between them, prompting the suspect to stab the victim./PN
