ILOILO City – A man got stabbed by his younger half-brother in Barangay Salgan, Maayon, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Christopher Dapiton, 29, and the suspect as Jonas Frias, 26. Both were residents of Barangay Salgan.
Prior to the stabbing, the brothers had a drinking binge.
According to the Maayon police, Frias later decided he wanted to go to the town proper even if already inebriated.
Dapiton stopped him and this sparked an argument leading to the stabbing.
Frias was rushed to the Bailan District Hospital for treatment.
Dapiton fled. His whereabouts remained unknown as of this writing./PN
