ANTIQUE – A 33-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after his drinking buddy stabbed him around 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, in Barangay Funda-Dalipe, San Jose de Buenavista town.
The victim was identified as Manuel Pernia, 33, and a resident of District 2, Sibalom town while the suspect was Julen Galindez, 34, fisherman, of Barangay Funda-Dalipe.
San Jose de Buenavista police investigation showed that the suspect stabbed the victim following a misunderstanding during a drinking binge.
The suspect immediately fled.
Police said a hot pursuit operation against the suspect was ongoing as of this writing./PN
