ILOILO – A drinking session turned deadly in Barangay Tabucan, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo after a 30-year-old man fatally stabbed his own relative following a misunderstanding.
Police identified the victim as alias “Jojo”, 25, a hollow block maker from Barangay Ivisan, Capiz, while the suspect, alias “Roland”, is a resident of Barangay Tabucan.
According to Lieutenant John Bundac, deputy chief of the Barotac Nuevo Municipal Police Station (MPS), a barangay tanod reported finding Jojo’s body at around 5 a.m. on Sunday, March 30.
The victim sustained stab wounds to his torso and hands, police said.
