ILOILO City – A man landed in a hospital after he tried to kill himself.
The 54-year-old Francisco Prieto of Barangay Cauayan, Pototan, Iloilo was confined at the Western Visayas Medical Center, a police report showed.
His cousin – who the police did not identify – saw him slashing his throat around 5 p.m. on Tuesday using a 12-inch long kitchen knife in Barangay San Jose, Dingle.
According to cops, Prieto suffers from nervous breakdown.
His laceration was now being treated at the hospital./PN
