BACOLOD City – He survived even after being shot several times in Barangay Canlamay, Ilog, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 36-year-old resident Ernesto Castro was currently recuperating at the Kabankalan District Hospital after three suspects fired at him around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Castro was driving a motorcycle when the suspects attacked. He sustained gunshot wounds on the body, police said.
The injured Castro was able to drive himself home – that was when he was rushed to the hospital.
Officers from the Ilog municipal police station were still identifying the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
