ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Zarrague, Pototan, Iloilo was charged with six counts of violation of Batas Pambansa 22, a police report showed.
The 46-year-old Henry Pretal was arrested in the village on Feb. 8.
Pototan police officers served him a warrant of arrest at around 4:30 p.m.
Batas Pambansa 22 penalizes the making or drawing and issuance of a check without sufficient funds or credit.
The court set the bail bond for Pretal’s temporary liberty at P2,000 per count./PN
