ILOILO – Elements of the Anti-Kidnapping Group-Visayas Field Unit, Iloilo-Bacolod Satellite Office, together with two force multipliers and the Ajuy, Iloilo municipal police station, conducted a manhunt that resulted to the arrest of a fugitive.
Yoren Aspilla, 60, was charged with rape. He was caught in Sitio Bantod, Barangay Pinantan Elizalde, Ajuy, Iloilo at about 4:35 p.m. on Sept. 13
The arrest warrant (Criminal Case No. 2021-10043) was issued by Presiding Judge Jose Mauricio Gomez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 71 (Barotac Viejo, Iloilo) On Sept. 6, 2021.
The suspect was taken to the Ajuy police station.
Aspilla was accused of sexuallys abusing a minor girl sometime on December 2019. The bail bond for his temporary liberty was fixed at P180,000./PN
