BACOLOD City – He was allegedly carrying drug paraphernalia that was why he was arrested, police said.
The 42-year-old Christino Vasques Jr. of Barangay 4, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental may face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, a police report showed.
Police were patrolling Barangay San Pedro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental around 11:30 p.m. when they frisked Vasques, leading to the recovery of an improvised tooter with traces of suspected shabu.
Police also confiscated a lighter and cellphone from Vasques.
Vasques was under the custody of the Binalbagan municipal police station./PN
