ILOILO City – A 44-year-old man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation on C1 Road in Barangay San Jose, Arevalo district around 10:49 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25.
Skieler Minerva, a native of Barangay Poblacion South, Oton, Iloilo but temporarily residing in Barangay Namocon, Tigbauan, Iloilo yielded a total of 15 sachets of suspected shabu weighing three grams and valued at around P20,400.
Arevalo police also seized P4,000 in buy-bust money, cellular phone, motorcycle, and metal canister.
Minerva was detained at the Arevalo police station. He faces charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
