BACOLOD City – The family of a 16-year-old boy who was found dead in Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental was convinced that he committed suicide, police said.
Senior Inspector Julius Caesar, Manapla police chief, identified the boy as Owart Palomaria.
Palomaria’s 20-year-old brother, Liwart, found him hanging from a mango tree about five meters from their house with a nylon cord tied around his neck around 7 a.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Palomaria’s cadaver was brought to the Manapla Funeral Parlor. The family believes that there was no foul play, police said./PN
