BACOLOD City – A man was killed after the motorcycle he was driving bumped into a parked truck on the national highway in Hacienda Lourdes, Barangay Punta Mesa, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
The 20-year-old Christian Lucero of Hacienda Remedios, Barangay Santa Teresa, Manapla overtook another vehicle passing the right lane of the road when he rammed into the truck, a police report showed.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the report further stated.
Lucero, who was on his way to Victorias City, Negros Occidental, sustained injuries after his head struck the tires of the truck.
Police have already contacted the owner of the truck./PN
