BACOLOD City – Who shot two Barangay Mandalagan residents and why? Police were still trying to know.
Ducay Salvador, 33, and Aliston Salazar, 30, were about to park their motorcycle on Lacson Street in Barangay 5 on Wednesday when a group of unidentified people approached and shot them using an improvised firearm, police said.
Salvador, hit on the stomach, was taken to the Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital (formerly Riverside Medical Center). Salazar was wounded on the left leg and brought to the Our Lady of Mercy Specialty Hospital.
The suspects fled after the incident, police said./PN
