ILOILO City – A “trigger-happy” man was nabbed on New Year’s Day in Barangay Hibaoan Norte, Mandurriao district, a police report showed.
The 37-year-old Stewart Mirasol was arrested after his neighbors complained him for firing a gun to celebrate the New Year around 12:20 a.m. on Jan. 1.
It turned out that the .9mm pistol Mirasol used was unlicensed, police said.
The gun was taken under the custody of the police. An empty shell was also recovered.
