GUIMARAS – Nearly 5,000 jobs will be available at the Manggahan Job Fair 2023 at the provincial capitol grounds in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan town on May 19.
More than 25 employers and recruitment agencies in various industries will participate. International corporations look to fill around 1,400 vacancies while domestic corporations offer over 3,000 positions.
The Manggahan Job Fair is part of the Manggahan Festival, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment – Guimaras, the Provincial Economic Development Office, and Labor and Employment Services.
This is an opportunity for employers to provide employment opportunities to qualified job seekers and to promote Guimaras’ human resources of professional and skilled workers.
On Friday, May 5, a familiarization tour of micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises and tourism sites for employers was conducted to give the companies a glimpse of the economic landscape of Guimaras and its human resource potential.

Manggahan Festival 2023 kicked off on April 29 and will conclude on May 22 in conjunction with the 31st anniversary of Guimaras becoming a province.
Guests may enjoy the Mango-Eat-All-You-Can from May 19 to 22.
The Provincial Office for Agriculture Services allotted 10 tons of mangoes for the Mango-Eat-All-You-Can where guests can feast on the fruit for P150 within 30 minutes. (With a report from the provincial government of Guimaras)/PN
