FOR Marco Gumabao, Anne Curtis is the “perfect” leading lady and he could not ask for anyone else to play the role in their upcoming movie “Just A Stranger.”
“Sobrang bait niya, sobrang perfect. That’s why super thankful ako sa Viva and, of course, kay Anne na ako ‘yung pinili nila to do this,” he said in an interview with Push.
Based on their Instagram updates, the two stars flew to Lisbon, Portugal early this month to shoot some scenes for the project.
“Sa Portugal kasi magmi-meet ‘yung character namin. Pero mas marami ang shoot namin sa Manila,” he said.
When asked if they have intimate scenes in the film, Gumabao deferred to answer and simply said: “Basta hintayin niyo na lang ‘yung trailer.”
“Hindi ko kasi alam kung puwede nang sabihin, eh. Ang gusto nila lumabas muna ‘yung trailer,” he said.
“Just a Stranger” is a Viva Films production. It is directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, whose other film, Star Cinema’s “Between Maybes,” opens in cinemas on Wednesday.
“Just a Stranger” centers on a woman who falls for a man much younger than her. It also stars Edu Manzano.
There’s no release date for it yet, nor an official synopsis from Viva. (Push)
