IN series of tweets posted on Twitter on Feb. 8, Maris Racal revealed she harbored insecurities behind the camera.
Maris opened up about having to “hide” her insecurities and “keep up with all the pretty girls around me” by making sure she looked her best all the time.
On a quest to improve herself, Maris likewise went to the one person she trusts for some tried-and-tested beauty advice: her mom.
As she grew older and wiser, Maris started to confront her perceptions about herself. She realized that loving and accepting oneself, flaws and all, is the key to being beautiful inside and out.
Maris also reminded girls who may be feeling the same way that “self-love is the best love.”(Pep)
