MANILA – Based on the latest survey results from the RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD), former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary and senatorial candidate Mark A. Villar topped again the senatorial survey for the May 9 elections, with a 72.6% voter preference.
The poll was conducted from April 17 to 21 using face-to-face interviews with 10,000 respondents nationwide. It has a (+/-) 1% sampling error margin for national percentages.
“Maraming salamat po ulit sa RPMD. Isang malaking karangalan po ulit na manguna sa senatorial survey. Mas lalo ko pa pong pag bubutihan ang aking serbisyo publiko. Nakakataba po ng puso na maraming sumusuporta saakin,” Villar said.
Villar (72.6%) was followed by Antique’s Cong. Loren Legarda (67.1%), Sorsogon’s Gov. Francis Escudero (61.5%), broadcaster Raffy Tulfo (60.3%), former House Speaker Alan Cayetano (53.8%) and Sen. Win Gatchalian (52.4%).
Also included in the list of preferred senatorial candidates ranking 7th to 12th place were Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri (51.7%), former Vice President Jejomar Binay (44.8%), actor Robin Padilla (43.6%), former senator Gringo Honasan (43.2%), Sen. Joel Villanueva (37.5%), and former senator JV Estrada Ejercito (34.8%).
Close behind the “Magic 12” are former senator Jinggoy Estrada (33.5%), Sen. Dick Gordon (31.2%), Sen. Risa Hontiveros (30.8%), former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque (29.6%), former Defense secretary Gilbert Teodoro (26.3%) and former Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista (25.1%).
“Maraming salamat po sa mga naniniwala sa atin, asahan niyo na akin pong ipagpapatuloy ang magandang nasimulan ng Build Build Build Program upang makapagbigay ng kabuhayan para sa mga manggagawang Pilipino. Patuloy kong isusulong ang kapakanan at karapatan ng mga manggagawam,” senatorial aspirant Villar said.
Villar also came up on top of RPMD’s preferred senatorial candidate survey on February 2022, which was conducted from Feb. 22-28 nationwide./PN
