FIVE Filipinas made it to the 100 Most Beautiful Faces list of TC Candler for 2023.
TC Candler released the list on Dec. 28.
Among the Filipina celebrities who made it to the list were Andrea Brillantes at No. 16, Ivana Alawi at No. 21, Liza Soberano at No. 28, Janine Gutierrez at No. 45, and Belle Mariano at No. 71.
Andrea headlined the ABS-CBN series “Senior High.” On the show, the Kapamilya star plays the roles of Sky Love Cruz and Luna Amore Cruz. Meanwhile, Ivana stars in the hit Kapamilya primetime series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.” She plays the role of Bubbles.
Liza is set to star in the Hollywood movie “Lisa Frankenstein” which will premiere in February this year. Meanwhile, Janine starred in the revenge drama “Dirty Linen” last year, portraying the role of Alexa Salvacion and Mila Dela Cruz-Fier.
Belle Mariano is currently starring in the Kapamilya series “Can’t Buy Me Love” as Caroline. The show is currently airing on Kapamilya Channel and TV5 and is streaming on Netflix.
According to TC Candler, “aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope… they are all embodied in a gorgeous face.”
It further highlighted: “The 100 Most Beautiful Faces List is not a popularity contest and it is definitely not country specific. It is not about the hottest or the most famous celebrity. Rather, the list attempts to inform & broaden public opinion, instead of reflecting it.”
The top 100 were selected from approximately more than 300,000 celebrities.
Ranking No. 1 on the 2023 Most Beautiful Faces list is K-pop star Nancy McDonie. Ranking at No. 2 is Russian model Dasha Taran while Sana of K-pop group TWICE landed at No. 3 on the list.
