MANILA – Megaworld said Tuesday would expand shopping mall footprint by opening 11 commercial properties nationwide this year, adding 54,000 square meters to its retail space portfolio.
The “biggest chunk” of new retail space will be in Uptown Bonifacio, the developer said in a statement.
The new township Arcovia City will be launched in Pasig while a “Beverly Hills-themed” commercial row will be developed in Alabang West, Megaworld chief strategy officer Kevin Tan said.
New retail spaces will also be opened in the cities of Iloilo, Las Piñas, Taguig, Pasig, Davao and in Boracay Island by the end of the year, the company said.
Megaworld said its retail footprint would reach around 771,000 sqm by the end of 2019. (ABS-CBN News)
