MELAI Cantiveros revealed the character that she will be playing in her upcoming movie with Pulp Studios.
In an Instagram post, Melai shared that she will be playing the role of a police officer called Ma’am Chief.
“Guys mtagal kona gus2 ishare tu s inyu At itu naaaa masha share kona sa wakas , papakilala ko lang sarili ko ako si #MaamChief at ur service (sic),” Melai wrote.
She added that the said film was the one she filmed when she was in Korea the other month.
“Na tinutukoy ko sa post ko na shooting sa Korea and talaga naman Thank you Lord sa @pulpstudiosph sa tiwala sa akin na bumida sa first ever movie ko na shinoot sa ibang bansa ‘Koreaaaa’ Kamsamiiiiiii, itung movie na itu is brought to us by @pulpstudiosph Inang @happeehour and directed by Madam Kring @kringkim (sic),” she said.
Melai said she will be posting more behind the scenes photos from the shoot on social media.
“Sobrang best blessing ever tu ni Lord sa akin, at simula ngayun maglalabas ako ng mga pics and behind the scenes photo ng mga kasama ko sa Korea, with Korean Crews and staff and co actors and actresses (sic),” she stated.
“Amazing ang experience nmin tlagang One for the Books? Or One of the books?? Kayu nalang bahala total matatanda namn na kayu Soon ‘MaamChief’ in theaters (sic),” the comedian quipped.
Melai will be headlining the movie alongside cast members Alora Sasam, Dustine Mayores, Bernadette Allyson-Estrada, Sela Guia, Enzo Almario, and Manel Sevidal. (PUSH)
