ILOILO City – Social Security System (SSS) is encouraging members in this city and Iloilo province to avail themselves of the agency’s e-mobile services at Sunburst Park (formerly Iloilo Freedom Grandstand) on JM Basa Street here today.
SSS will be serving clients from 7 a.m. to 12 noon.
All services offered at the two SSS branches in Iloilo City would also be offered to clients at the e-mobile services venue, according to Dr. Lilani Benedian, vice president for Visayas West I Division (Negros Island) and concurrent acting vice president for Visayas West 2 Division (Panay Island).
The two SSS branches here are in Molo district and the City Proper (across Sunburst Park).
The services available are the following: issuance of SSS number, verification and updating of records, SSS identification card, and amendments of records, among others.
“Our e-mobile services offering is part of our commitment to serve SSS members not just inside our offices,” said Benedian.
SSS’ offices in the City Proper and Molo were always full of clients, she noted.
For faster SSS e-mobile services transaction today, clients must bring their identification cards, birth certificates or marriage contracts, said Benedian.
Also today, SSS would be holding an employers’ forum. Over 200 registered employers in this city and Iloilo province are expected to participate.
“We will give updates. SSS is gearing towards digitalization,” said Benedian.
One of the matters to be discussed is how to go about processing members’ sick leave or salary loan via electronic or digital processes without having to go to the SSS office./PN
