CONTENT creator and vlogger Mikey Bustos received a personalized drawing from Matt Groening, the American cartoonist who created “The Simpsons” and other comic strips and animates series.
Mikey took his fanboy moment to Instagram, sharing photos of his special gift.
He said, “Pardon me while I fanboy to the highest level “THE” Matt Groening, American cartoonist and creator of @TheSimpsons, just sent me this personalized drawing of Homer covered in fire ants. I’m screaming! For me, the legendary Matt Groening is a modern day Picasso!”
According to Mikey, he got connected with Matt because the son of the latter is a huge fan of his page dedicated to ant-keeping.
He also revealed why meeting the Groenings holds a special place in his heart.
“I literally grew up watching The Simpsons, so meeting the Groenings via Matt’s son watching @antscanada is a full circle moment for me! I will treasure this artwork forever! PS – Matt Groening’s handwriting is the actual font for the show! So cool right?!” Mikey said.(GMA News)
