ILOILO City – An alleged “asset” of the Military Intelligence Group 6 (MIG-6) was arrested in Barangay 4, Roxas City for illegal gun possession. He also had a knife.

The 51-year-old Christopher Gardose of Barangay Magsaysay, La Paz, Iloilo City was detained at the Roxas City police office. He claimed to be working for the military.

Gardose was caught around 12:30 a.m. on April 23 t the city plaza, said Superintendent Luther Lugo of the Roxas City police.

Cops recovered from Gardose a .9mm pistol with nine bullets and a six-inch knife.

The pistol, however, had an expired license, said Lugo.

Gardose’s mission order from MIG-6 was also expired, he added.

Lugo said Gardose will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Gardose could not be reached for comment as of this writing./PN
