CAPIZ – A 15-year-old boy drowned in Barangay Basiao, Ivisan town.
The victim was a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Sapian, Capiz.
He and friends were taking a swim at a beach resort on Saturday when he was swept away by the strong water current.
The boy’s body was recovered at around 6:48 p.m. by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Capiz Emergency Response Team./PN
