BACOLOD City – The decomposing body of a man was found floating in Magsungay River in Purok Santolan, Barangay Vista Alegre in this city on Saturday, June 22.
The 41-year-old Cyron Araneta, a resident of the said village, has been missing since June 19 after he left home.
Police Captain Greeky Cayao, officer-in-charge of the Bacolod City Police Station 7, said that based on their investigation the victim was drunk and accidentally fell into the river.
According to the autopsy result, the cause of Araneta’s death was drowning.
Cayao added that there was no foul play./PN
