ROXAS City – His body was found floating in a river in Barangay Pang-pang Norte, Mambusao, Capiz two days after he went missing, a police report showed.
The 27-year-old Riñel Olaso of Barangay Balat-an, Mambusao was last seen around 9 a.m. on March 31, his mother, who refused to be identified, told the police.
Olaso’s family positively identified the body which was fished out of the river around 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
Olaso’s mother said her son was mentally ill and would leave their house without notice.
Police were still investigating Olaso’s death but initial report showed that he died of drowning./PN
