ILOILO City – Joint operatives of the Iloilo City Police Office’s (ICPO) City Intelligence Unit (CIU), City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and Police Station 4 demonstrated their commitment to combating illegal drugs by apprehending a high-value target.

Alias “Boss”, 28, and a resident of Barangay Pinantan, Ajuy, Iloilo, was caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Pedro, Molo district around 11:32 p.m. on Sunday, September 10.

Operatives of the CIU and CDEU led by newly appointed chiefs Lieutenant Dante Tayco and Captain Ryan Christ Inot, respectively, along with Police Station 4 officers, recovered 27 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 150 grams and approximately valued at P1.02 million, P12,000 in buy-bust money and non-drug-related items.

“I commend our CIU, CDEU and Police Station 4 teams for their decisive and courageous actions. Despite being newly installed, they conducted a major operation that led to the arrest of a high-value target and the seizure of a significant amount of illegal drugs.
