ILOILO CITY – Seven families were displaced after six houses were destroyed and another one was partially damaged by fire in barangay West Habog-Habog, Molo district.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Iloilo City, the fire broke out around 6:51 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, and was declared under control around 7:35 p.m. A “fire out” was declared at 7:54 p.m.
BFP-Iloilo City pegged the cost of damage at P500,000.
Further investigation showed that the fire was electrical in nature./PN
