ILOILO City – Ariel Espino was clueless why his fellow boardinghouse tenant attacked him.

The 40-year-old resident of Barangay Jelicuon Este, New Lucena, Iloilo has complained of pains on the right ear, elbow and back, a police report showed.

He accused Dian Librado of striking him with an umbrella several times at around 11 a.m. on Jan. 31 on Gomez Street, Barangay Ortiz.

Espino and Librado were staying in a boardinghouse in Zone II, Barangay San Juan, Molo district.

Librado cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.

Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
