Raquel Pempengco, the estranged mother of Jake Zyrus, has appealed to the singer to visit his ailing grandmother, who is reportedly under intensive care at a hospital.
“Please pray for her. She’s in the ICU right now,” Pempengco was quoted as saying by PEP.ph, citing her Facebook post on Tuesday.
“Napatiran ng ugat sa ulo,” was Pempengco’s short explanation about the condition of her mother, Tess Relucio.
Pempengco further wrote: “Sana magparamdam ang paborito niyang apo. Ngayon siya kailangan nito.”
Pempengco was referring to Zyrus, according to the report.
Zyrus and Raquel have been caught in a loop of making up and falling out, stretching back to their first rift in 2013 when the singer came out as a transgender male. (ABS-CBN News)
