In providing genuine quality service, MORE Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power) has proven its commitment in just four years — from lower rates to efficient troubleshooting and marrying into Iloilo City’s thrust for sustainable development. To further contribute to the well-being of llonggo communities, MORE Power has taken many local initiatives that go beyond its primary mission and has surely proven that it is a driver of positive change —that MORE cares.

With devotion to aquatic food and biodiversity, MORE Power recently released juvenile fishes into the Iloilo River. The 1,095 fingerlings also marked the number of days the electric company has served communities with competence since its birth.

Also in celebration of its anniversary, MORE Power as an agent in uplifting local farmers and promoting edible landscapes donated vegetable seeds to Iloilo City’s USWAG Agri-Nursery and the Iloilo City Farmers’ Federation.

And in appreciation of MORE Power’s partners, a recognition event was also held for its third-party collecting agents, suppliers, contractors, key accounts, local government units and customers.

If anything, MORE Power has also shown consistency with its initiatives.

MORE Power’s Guardians of the Environment, understanding the harsh impacts of disasters, also participated in several tree planting activities.

Employee-volunteers also took part in the International Coastal Cleanup and were able to remove a total of 30 sacks of land-based trash.

At the height of the pandemic, the company donated aid to frontliners such as personal protective equipment, among others.

MORE Power also honors hardworking parent-employees, especially during Fathers’ and Mothers’ Days. And in valuing human lives, MORE Power has been conducting bloodletting and gift-giving drives with various partners. MORE Power has been genuine in its efforts to build a socially and environmentally ethical company. Indeed, care and compassion are at the forefront of its priorities./PN
