ROXAS City – The provincial government of Capiz asked district hospitals to deploy some of their healthcare workers to the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH).
RMPH has seen a surge in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients.
As of April 17, Capiz had 134 active cases of COVID-19.
Capiz provincial administrator Dr. Edwin Monares, however, clarified that the number of beds at the provincial hospital was still sufficient.
RMPH could accommodate up to 70 COVID-19 patients considered severe or critically ill./PN
