ILOILO City – Janneth Dela Cruz, a 50-year-old cook and baker from Barangay Mansaya, Lapuz district, was moved to tears when a team from MORE Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power) surprised her at her home early Friday morning, October 11.

MORE Power team celebrates with their 100,000th customer, Ms. Janneth Dela Cruz, marking a significant milestone for the company.

In just over four years since taking over as Iloilo City’s distribution utility in February 2020, MORE Power has achieved a remarkable cumulative growth rate of approximately 59.8%, expanding its customer base from over 62,000 to 100,000. This milestone reflects the company’s firm commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence, which has been driven by innovative, customer-centric programs like the MORE Konek Program.

“Our growth is a testament to the trust and support we’ve built within the Iloilo community,” said Roel Castro, president and chief executive officer of MORE Power.

“We are dedicated to enhancing our services and ensuring that our customers feel valued every step of the way,” Castro emphasized.

The success of MORE Power is not merely about numbers; it embodies a mission to deliver reliable electricity while fostering strong relationships with its customers. The company’s focus on understanding and addressing customer needs has been pivotal in achieving this growth, demonstrating that a customer-first approach can yield substantial results.

Reaching 100,000 customers is a significant accomplishment for MORE Power, and as a way to celebrate this, Castro envisioned a special “pasasalamat” package for the 100,000th customer. This gesture reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and appreciating its growing customer base.

The company remains dedicated to enhancing its services and infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of its expanding customer base. As MORE Power continues its journey in Iloilo, it aims to further strengthen its commitment to excellence in service delivery while contributing positively to the local economy./PN
