IN A BID to bolster Iloilo’s standing as a burgeoning business and investment hub, the Business Management Association of the Philippines (BMAP) spearheaded a Business and Investment Symposium at the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo on Friday, March 15.
Among the key speakers, MORE Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power) – the leading electricity provider in the region – took center stage, showcasing its commitment to the senior high school students of the town.
MORE Power, in its presentation, unveiled various initiatives aimed at benefitting Ilonggos. They emphasized easy access to services and programs for consumers, along with innovative solutions they have implemented. Notably, MORE Power boasted a reduced electricity rate, now at a competitive P9.96 per kilowatt-hour for the current month.
Moreover, the around 500 attendees learned about MORE Power’s franchise expansion, which now covers the 2nd and 4th districts of Iloilo, including Barotac Nuevo. This expansion signifies the company’s dedication to reaching more areas and serving more communities.
In addition to MORE Power’s contributions, the Iloilo provincial government also highlighted the ongoing progress of the province. They emphasized the importance of a stable supply of water, electricity, and communication infrastructure to attract further investment.
