ANTIQUE – More than 300,000 individuals in Antique province have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus disease in 2019 (COVID -19).
As of April 1, 302,264 individuals have been fully vaccinated, or 60.66 percent of the province’s 80 percent target population of 498,263.
Here is a breakdown of 302,264 individuals fully vaccinated per town: San Jose (52,578), Sebaste (10,973), Anini-y (12,683), Tobias Fornier (19,683), Caluya (20,512), Pandan (19,369), Libertad (8,457) , Barbaza (11,527), Culasi (20,873), Belison (6,370), Sibalom (27,331), Laua-an (11,802), Tibiao (11,906), Valderrama (8,502), Hamtic (21,391), Bugasong (14,607), Patnongon ( 13,811), and San Remigio (10,393).
Data from the Antique Provincial Health Office (APHO) also shows that 30,123 senior citizens were fully vaccinated or 57.13 percent out of 52, the 725 target population.
Here is a breakdown of 30,123 senior citizens fully vaccinated per town: San Jose (4,675), Sebaste (1,474), Anini-y (1,621), Tobias Fornier (2,855), Caluya (955), Pandan (1,876), Libertad (790 ), Barbaza (1,445), Culasi (2,739), Belison (640), Sibalom (2,630), Laua-an (1,102), Tibiao (1,207), Valderrama (903), Hamtic (2,344), Bugasong (1,215), Patnongon (1,191), and San Remigio (821).
Because of this, APHO encourages the remaining unvaccinated individuals in Antique to get vaccinated so that the entire province can go down to Alert Level 1.
As of now, only two towns particularly San Jose and Sebaste have been under Alert Level 1 while the 16 remaining towns are under Alert Level 2.
