More than 9k Antiqueños were vaccinated in 4th National Vaccination Day

ANTIQUE – Up to 9,740 individuals in the province of Antique were vaccinated during the 4th National Vaccination Day last March 10 to 12.

Based on data from the Department of Health (DOH) in Region 6,  out of 13,236 target population of Antique to be vaccinated during the 4th National Vaccination Day, only 9,740 individuals or 73 percent were vaccinated.

Of the 9,740 individuals, 3,156 received the first dose, 4,535 received the second dose, 1,183 the booster shot, and 886 individuals received the Janssen.

Here is the accomplishment of the remaining provinces and highly urbanized cities during the three-day National Vaccination Day.

* Guimaras – 5,066

* Iloilo – 46,782

* Negros Occidental – 47,392

* Bacolod City – 20,688

* Iloilo City – 9,039

DOH-6 data also shows that the accomplishment of Region 6 exceeded the given target after they vaccinated 156,828 individuals or 101.77 percent.

The DOH for Region 6’s target individuals alone numbered only 154,097.

As of March 20, 297,671 individuals in Antique have been fully vaccinated or 60 percent of the total target population of 498,263 individuals.
